WASHINGTON, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Company Limited, China's leading dairy product company, won the "Excellence in Practice Award" on Monday with its whole industry chain quality talent enabling project.
The award was given by the Association for Talent Development (ATD), the world's largest professional association dedicated to those who develop talent in organizations.
Yili is the only healthy food firm that won such award this time, the highest honor in global talent development aiming at recognizing individual practices across the full scope of talent development.
Yili's practices and remarkable achievements in talent development made ATD's experts select it as the winner of the award, said Tony Bingham, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with ATD.

According to Yili, since the inception of the whole industry chain quality talent enabling project, a total of 1,128 expert training programs have been initiated, creating direct revenues of 17 million U.S. dollars for the company.
Yili has always attached great importance to talent development, keeping improving the value of talent capital to create greater value, said Xu Jun, assistant president with Yili in an interview with Xinhua.

Focusing on related enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, the whole industry chain quality talent enabling project is a concrete move to forge the "global health ecosystem" proposed by Yili's Chairman Pan Gang, added Xu.
According to him, Yili conducts targeted training to its partners after studying their needs and shortcomings in advance through the project, providing great help in elevating the quality, team management level and quality management skills of the entire industrial chain.
Yili also plans to recruit college graduates from different countries and regions like Indonesia and Thailand, promoting the integration of different cultures as well as the internationalization of itself.
