GUIYANG, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The number of registered drivers on China's leading truck ride-hailing platform, All My Heart (AMH) Group, reached 6.5 million, with registered consignors reaching 1.6 million.
Headquartered in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou Province, the AMH Group was established in 2017, aimed at providing solutions to information asymmetry in the industry via big data and artificial intelligence technologies.
In April 2018, the group completed its first round of financing of 1.9 billion U.S. dollars from investment institutions including CapitalG, Farallon Capital and Baillie Gifford.
In 2018, the group is estimated to have helped reduce 9.23 million tonnes of carbon emission. It also launched an online transportation fee transaction platform last year, with monthly transactions of more than 3 billion yuan.
The company also plans to proactively explore fields such as new energy and unmanned driving.
As China's first big data pilot zone, the mountainous province of Guizhou has attracted heavyweight players, including Apple, Qualcomm, Huawei, Tencent, Alibaba and Foxconn, to establish cloud computing and big data centers as well as regional headquarters.
