MOSCOW, April 9 (Xinhua) -- A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Tuesday wrapped up a four-day visit to Russia where they talked with Russian party members about promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two countries' parties as well as between the two countries.
The delegation, led by Deputy Director of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee Qian Hongshan, met with senior members of four Russian political parties during their trip that started Saturday.
The two sides held in-depth talks on strengthening contacts between the Chinese and Russian parties, boosting pragmatic cooperation and promoting the development of the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination.
The Russian party members include Member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party Vladimir Pligin, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky, and Chairman of A Just Russia party Sergei Mironov.
