Abstract : The joint venture formed by China Gezhouba Group Company Ltd. and DESCON, a Pakistan-based engineering service provider, recently signed a contract with Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority for the Mohmand Dam hydropower project in Pakistan.
BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- The joint venture formed by China Gezhouba Group Company Ltd. (CGGC, 600068.SH) and DESCON, a Pakistan-based engineering service provider, recently signed a contract with Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) for the Mohmand Dam hydropower project in Pakistan, according to CGGC's filing with Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The contract value of the project is about 12.48 billion yuan (about 224.46 billion rupees), of which CGGC accounts for 8.71 billion yuan (about 156.42 billion rupees). (Edited by Su Dan)
