SHENZHEN, March 28 (Xinhua) -- China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (CIMC) posted a 34.7 percent annual growth in net profit for 2018.
In its 2018 financial results filed to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, CIMC said its net profit reached 3.38 billion yuan (503 million U.S. dollars) last year.
Meanwhile, its revenue rose 22.5 percent year-on-year to 93.5 billion yuan, said the leading supplier of logistics and energy equipment.
Overseas businesses contributed to over 52 percent of the revenue, it said.
Revenues from its container and road transport vehicle businesses rose 26 percent and 25 percent to 31.5 billion yuan and 24.4 billion yuan, respectively.
Revenue from its energy, chemical and liquid food equipment business, its third-largest business, rose 20 percent to 14.2 billion yuan.
Shares of China International Marine Containers closed the morning trade 1.96 percent higher at 14.06 yuan on Thursday in Shenzhen. Enditem
