Yamaton Paper GmbH has started production at its new plant in the city of Rostock, northern Germany. The company belongs to the Israeli paper processing group Yamaton and has been based in Rostock since 2000. As the economic development agency Rostock Business reported on Wednesday, the company has invested around 9.8 million euros in the new plant.
With 56 employees, it produces environmentally friendly and customer-specific packaging materials that are used in the automotive and construction industries, as well as in transport and logistics. Previously, Yamaton Paper was located in the Rostock oil port. The relocation was necessary due to the positive business development.
