BEIJING, March 27(Xinhua) -- CITIC Bank Tuesday announced a 4.6 percent growth in net profit for 2018.
Its net profits hit 44.51 billion yuan in 2018, while sales revenue rose 5.2 percent to 164.85 billion yuan.
CITIC Bank's operating income in financial sector achieved 16.539 billion yuan, an increase of 74.26 percent.
Its asset value increased 6.9 percent from the previous year to over 6 trillion yuan by the end of last year.
The commercial bank's non-performing loan ratio rose 0.09 percentage points to 1.77 percent in 2018. According to CITIC, its non-performing loans were registered mainly in the manufacturing and wholesale and retail industries, which accounted for 53.89 percent of its balance of non-performing loans.
