BEIJING, March 19 (Xinhua) -- Country Garden Holdings Company Limited (Country Garden), one of China's leading real estate developers, reported a 67.1 percent year on year increase in revenue which reached 379.08 billion yuan in 2018 in its financial report released by Monday.
According to its financial report, the Guangdong-headquartered Gountry Garden, together with the joint ventures and associates, realized contracted sales of 501.88 billion yuan and contracted floor areas of 54.16 million square meters in 2018, showing a year-on-year increase of 31.25 percent and 23.06 percent respectively.
Its gross profit and net profit reached 102.48 billion yuan and 48.54 billion yuan respectively, posting a year-on-year increase of 74.3 percent and 68.8 percent respectively.
By the end of 2018, the company’s cash balance was 242.54 billion yuan, accounting for 14.9 percent of the total assets. (Edited by Tong Wei, tongwei@xinhua.org)
