Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva made it clear today in a short video clip uploaded on Facebook, that he will definitely not support Thailand's current PM and NCPO's Chairman Prayut Chan-o-cha as the post-election PM in the 2019 Thai general elections scheduled to be held on March 24, 2019. Yet, General Prayut was already selected as candidate by Democrat Party for the next PM.
"Obviously, I will definitely not support Prayut's return as PM, for reappointment may trigger political conflicts, deviating from Democrat party's ideal of putting people's interests first. Over past five years, Thailand's economy is sluggish, and the country has suffered enough. There is no more time to feel krengjai," said Abhisit.
