KUNMING -- Nearly 284 deals worth over 420 billion yuan were signed at the fourth China-South Asia Expo in Kunming, capital of the southwestern Yunnan Province.
Domestic investment projects with contract amounts exceeding 10 billion yuan were 6 deals, involving a total value of 108.9 billion yuan, while the volume of foreign trade contracts worth over 100 million US dollars were 7 deals.
Last year, the total value of signed deals at the expo stood at nearly 25.2 billion U.S. dollars.
Co-hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and the provincial government of Yunnan, the six-day event focused on international cooperation of industrial capacity, the building of economic corridors, and technology innovation and transfer.
