BEIJING - North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has filed 30 intentional investment projects towards Belt and Road countries in January-April of 2016, increasing 42.9 percent from a year ago.
According to the Bureau of Commerce of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, these 30 registered projects involved total investment by Chinese enterprises of 161 million US dollars, hiking 29.84 percent on year, which presented 21.76 percent of total external investment of the whole Region.
These 30 projects cover multi industrial sectors such agriculture, fishing, mining, manufacturing, construction, and information technology in Russia, Mongolia, the UAE, Thailand, and Cambodia.
Specifically, there are 18 registered Inner Mongolia enterprises that would make total investment of 59.02 million US dollars in Russia, hiking 203 percent from a year ago. The investment would go to forest cutting and wood processing, food processing, hotels, and wholesale and retail industries.
