HOHHOT -- Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is expected to deepen service trade cooperation with Russia and Mongolia in terms of international logistics, traditional Chinese medicine, information, and Mongolian software.
With the implementation of China's Belt and Road initiative, Inner Mongolia plans to develop international transportation and logistics service given the advantage itsManchuria port, Erenhot port, and Ceke port, and expand exports of special services in traditional Chinese medicine, information, and Mongolian software.
Meanwhile, Inner Mongolia is going to set up traditional Chinese medical service institutions and cultural products marketing network in Russia and Mongolia to support development of Inner Mongolia's cultural entities in the two countries, and support colleges and universities in Inner Mongolia in launching cooperative education programs with educational institutions in Russia and Mongolia.
Besides, Inner Mongolia would encourage qualified enterprises to launch infrastructure construction in Russia and Mongolia in forms of contracting with funds, overall contracting, and BOT so as to drive exports of equipment, technologies, capital and labor.
Adjacent to Russia and Mongolia, Inner Mongolia has border line running more than 4,200 kilometers. So far, Inner Mongolia has set up 18 open ports, including four ports opened to Russia and 10 to Mongolia, which respectively undertake 65 percent and 95 percent of total cargo transportation between China and the two countries. Manchuria port and Erenhot port are the largest ports that China opens to Russia and Mongolia, respectively.
