BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) -- Haikou, capital city of South China's Hainan province will build a film and television culture industrial park named "film factory" soon, according to Haikou Development and Reform Commission on Thursday.
The industrial park with a total investment of 850 million yuan will introduce and incubate more than 100 enterprises and studios by 2023, and employ more than 5,000 people.
Haikou Development and Reform Commission noted that the industrial park strives to become a first-class large-scale film and television culture industrial base in China.
It is noted that the industrial park located in Xiuying District, Haikou City will cover an area of 30,997 square meters.
Three film factory production workshop buildings and a film factory supporting service complex will be built and the construction period is from March 2019 to June 2020, according to the local newspaper. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
