BEIJING, March 2(Xinhua) -- Yangtze River Delta region is pushing forward integration with Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui and speeding up relevant infrastructure constructions and industry development.
For example, Dingzha-Tianning highway reconstruction and widening project, a major transportation project linking Jiashan county of Zhejiang's Jiaxing city to Shanghai, has its third section contract inked with construction expected to kick off in March, reported Shanghai Securities News on Friday.
Worth approximately 549.5 million yuan, the project is the largest highway construction deal for Jiashan over the past decade.
Meanwhile, Shanghai Qingpu district has released the work plan for Qingpu-Wujiang-Jiashan integration which spreads out 51 key tasks covering industry development, infrastructure constructions and people’s livelihood.
It is noted that Wujiang district of Jiangsu’s Suzhou city has mapped out 283 key projects for building itself into a high quality development benchmark in the Yangtze River Delta region with total investment estimated at 57.8 billion yuan for 2019.
In addition, Shanghai Qingpu district government inked strategic MoU with Shanghai Municipal Financial Service Office to co-advance Yangtze River Delta region integration as well as building Shanghai into an international finance center.
