AMMAN, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese embassy in Jordan on Wednesday signed a memorandum of cooperation with Jordan Football Association (JFA) in Jordanian capital Amman.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and the Chinese Ambassador to Jordan Pan Weifang.
The agreement provides JFA with an advanced financial and administrative system along with the latest fitness equipments for national football team at a total cost of approximately 100,000 U.S. dollars, a press release from the embassy said on Thursday.
Pan said that China could learn from Jordan's football development, adding that China will continue to provide support on the economical and social developments of Jordan.
Prince Ali thanked the Chinese embassy for its enthusiasm and supports to Jordan's football career, which he believed would be a good start for the cooperations in the field of sports between Jordan and China.
