BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- By the end of 2018, more than 20 provinces of China had released over 30 supporting policies to promote the development of artificial intelligence (AI), reported Economic Information Daily Thursday.
Among them, Beijing plans to establish the first AI development pilot zone and Zhejiang Province plans to create an industrial innovation alliance.
In 2019, China will focus on accelerating project deployment and implementation, strengthening basic research, accelerating infrastructure construction, promoting industry-university-research cooperation, expanding application demonstrations and improving relevant policies on AI, according to Li Meng, Vice Minister of Science and Technology Ministry.
