BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) --- Bilateral trade between China and Egypt surges 15.89 percent year on year to about 1.29 billion U.S. dollars in December 2018, according to statistics from General Administration of Customs of China.
Specifically, in December, China's exports to Egypt were about 1.11 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 11.67 percent, while its import from Egypt totaled 179 million U.S. dollars, up 51.52 percent.
In 2018, bilateral trade between China and Egypt totaled 13.87 billion U.S. dollars, up 27.63 percent year on year.
