BEIJING, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- China's dairy giant Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd. has registered revenues of 79.6 billion yuan (11.9 billion U.S. dollars) in 2018, up by 16.9 pct year on year, according to a company statement released Thursday.
The net profits attributable to its shareholders reached 6.5 billion yuan, the company said in its preliminary financial results for 2018 filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The company's e-commerce revenue increased by 61 percent year on year, and has over 1.75 million offline retailers of its milk products by the end of 2018, up 23.2 percent from a year ago.
Yili noted its expansion in southeast Asia and a rapid growth in its organic products thanks to China's consumption upgrade.
Shares of Yili rose 1.39 percent by 11:10 a.m. Thursday in Shanghai.
