BEIJING, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- China and Portugal signed a cooperation agreement on media exchange under the framework of Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in Lisbon on Monday, aiming at further strengthening communication and cooperation between media and journalists of the two countries.
China and Portugal will organize mutual visits of news agencies, carry out joint media coverage, hold seminars as well as training for journalists, according to the agreement.
Enhancing exchange and cooperation between media and journalists of countries along the Belt and Road route will boost mutual learning, information sharing, and bring development opportunities for those countries, Wang Dongmei, secretary of the Secretariat of All-China Journalists Association said at the signing ceremony.
