BEIJING, Feb.25 (Xinhua) -- Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, located in South China, plans to take measures to support the development of agriculture, reported Gaungxi Daily Sunday.
According to agricultural department of Guangxi, the autonomous region will create an industry chain of production and management system, promote the development of cold chain logistics system and develop leisure agriculture.
By 2020, the primary processing conversion rate of major agricultural products will be enhanced to over 68 percent and the income from the agricultural products processing above designated size will reach about 770 billion yuan; more than 2,000 large-scale agricultural product processing enterprises and over 30,000 small, medium and micro ones will be established; the cold chain circulation rate of fruit and vegetables, meat and aquatic products will be raised to 25 percent, 40 percent and 45 percent respectively; and the value of leisure agriculture will exceed 30 billion yuan.
