BEIJING, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Qingdao, a port city of east China’s Shandong province held a groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday for building an ocean vitality zone in its west coast new district, reported Shanghai Securities News.
With a total investment of 100 billion yuan and total planned area of three square kilometers, the ocean vitality zone features ocean innovation and business that include ocean innovation and development smart center, international economic and trade cooperation institution headquarters cluster, northeast Asia shipping center business core area, regional financial and trade innovation demonstration area and modern city fashion center.
