BEIJING, Feb. 19(Xinhua) – China Railway Materials Group Co. has won bidding for integrated Party A-supplied material agency services for the Hungary-Serbia railway program, the company announced recently.
According to the company, it will provide services such as international bidding procurement, field supply organization, base operation management, and international logistics and distribution for the construction of Belgrade-Stara Pazova section of the Hungary-Serbia high-speed rail.
Hungary-Serbia railway is the first railway infrastructure project that China has participated in Europe. It is also the key program of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative.
The railway is 350 kilometers long and was expected to complete in 36 months. (Edited by Yang Yifan, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
