HONG KONG, Feb. 18 (Xinhua) -- The revenue of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) for fiscal year 2018 rose 18 percent to six billion HK dollars (765 million U.S. dollars), a record high since its opening, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort said at a press conference here on Monday.
The net loss was reduced to 54 million HK dollars (6.9 million U.S. dollars), an 84 percent improvement from fiscal 2017, said HKDL.
According to HKDL, the annual attendance reached 6.7 million, up eight percent from the previous year.
The robust growth in revenue was attributed to increases in occupied room nights at the resort hotels, park attendance and guest spending, according to HKDL.
