BEIJING, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Energy China GPEC) and Rekadaya Elektrika signed a project agreement on constructing a coal-fired power plant in Ambon, Indonesia on February 14, according to www.bhi.com.cn.
The project, with the power capacity of 2*15 megawatts, adopts the form of engineering procurement construction (epc) and includes the services such as structure and equipment evaluation, design, existing equipment inspection and maintenance, new equipment purchasing, construction engineering, installation engineering, training and five years of plant operation and maintenance.
Energy China GPEC, established in 1956 and affiliated with the China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd., has been developed into an integrated large-scale enterprise and a general contractor for electric works.
Rekadaya Elektrika, a subsidiary of Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), the state electric company of Indonesia, focuses on the engineering procurement construction of small and medium-sized power plants and projects on power grid, power transmission and transformation.
