BEIJING, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Construction on the Linh-Ha Dong light rail in Hanoi, Vietnam, has entered the final stage, which is expected to be put into operation in April this year, source from Vietnam Plus.
With a total investment of 868 million U.S. dollars, Linh-Ha Dong light rail has a total length of 13 kilometers with 12 elevated stations.
As the EPC general contractor of the project, China Railway Sixth Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for technical design, materials supply, construction and installation, personnel training and process transfer of the project.
The project has received financial support from the Export-Import Bank of China.
The light rail program started construction in October 2011, and was put into trial operation in September last year.
