BEIJING, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- The number of China’s national scientific and technological achievement transformation guidance funds has so far amounted to 20 with accumulative scale being close to 30 billion yuan, the Xinhua-run Economic Information Daily reported on Thursday citing a source from the science and technology department.
Besides the funding, the first batch of 47 high education institution scientific and technological achievement transformation base list has also been released, while more than ten provinces and cities such as Shanghai Guangdong, Anhui released detailed local implementation plans to push technological innovations throughout industry chain, service chain, and talent support, according to the report.
It is noted that the national fund had set up six entrepreneurship investment sub funds in 2018 to further advance capitalization and industrialization as well as drive social investment.
The six sub funds, with a total scale of 4.967 billion yuan, mostly went to areas such as advanced manufacturing, information and technology, bio-medical, new material and energy saving and environmental protection sectors. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
