BEIJING, Feb. 11 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Chongqing pilot free trade zone (FTZ) has attracted 12,768 new enterprises to settle down in 2018, with a registered capital of about 128.2 billion yuan, according to official statistics of Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce.
Chongqing's local department has been improving management measures and services based on the demands of the enterprises, and simplifying administrative procedures to provide a better business environment. It is known that tax-related matters will be completed by no more than one time and all procedures can be processed online.
By far, some eye-catching industries are gathering in the Chongqing pilot FTZ. Foreign firms and enterprises in industries such as intelligent industry, health care industry and aviation industry have all settled down in the FTZ. (Edited by Bao Nuomin, baonuomin@xinhua.org)
