BEIJING, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Jaguar Land Rover China has announced a plan to recall 44 imported cars due to an engine safety hazard, according to China's national quality watchdog.
In accordance with the recall plan filed by the company to the State Administration for Market Regulation, the recall started on Feb. 2, involving six new Range Rover vehicles manufactured between Oct. 10-17, 2018 and 38 new Range Rover sports models made between Oct. 10-19, 2018.
The defective engine pulleys on these cars may cause engine stalling, posing safety risks, according to the statement of the State Administration for Market Regulation.
