BEIJING, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) --- National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's top economic planner, is taking the lead in compiling an outline for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, said Ying Yong, Shanghai mayor at a press conference on Thursday.
The outline will further clarify the construction of the demonstration zone for the integrated development of Yangtze River Delta region.
“We hope the demonstration zone will be a place where new development concepts and reform initiatives are implemented to promote regional coordinated development and strengthen ecological environment protection, noted Ying.
