BEIJING, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- East China's Zhejiang Province will formulate a plan to promote the integrated development of Yangtze River Delta region, said Yuan Jiajun, governor of Zhejiang Province, in the province’s government work report delivered at the annual session of the provincial people's congress.
Under the plan, Zhejiang will make efforts to boost coordinative development of Jiaxing city with Shanghai municipality, enhance construction of Zhoushan Archipelago New Area and co-build the G60 science and technology innovation valley covering nine cities in the Yangtze River Delta region.
In addition, the province will take the lead in building digital Yangtze River Delta, a world-class port cluster and an oil and gas trading center. (Edited by Wu Shuang, wushuang2018@xinhua.org)
