JINAN, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Ji’nan, capital city of East China’s Shandong province has officially launched the road testing for 5G communication Intelligent Connected Vehicles (ICV) on Tuesday.
An unmanned bus developed by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd, which obtained test license for ICV in the list of the first batch of enterprises, conducted a public road testing on a 4.8-km length of road section.
Last year, Ji’nan unveiled the first detailed regulation for road testing management for ICV in Shandong province. (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
