BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- The People’s Bank of China, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and China Securities Regulatory Commission on Thursday released implementation opinions on upgrades as well as integration of Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) in the financial sector.
The document proposes that financial service agency portal would support IPv6 access by 2019, and that financial service organization's internet application system for public service would support IPv6 access by 2020.
Starting from 2021, the scale development of IPv6 will be advanced for a next-generation internet with high speed, wide popularity, full coverage and intelligence, according to the document. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
