BEIJING, Jan. 7 (Xinhua) -- The actual use of foreign capital in East China’s Anhui province reached 15.88 billion dollars in the first 11 months of 2018, up 7 percent year on year, reported Anhui Daily, citing the province’s department of commerce.
The province saw 328 new foreign direct investment projects registered from January to November of 2018, up 19.7 percent year on year, and among them 66 projects were valued over 10 million dollars, up 13.8 percent year on year.
The manufacturing industry of Anhui continued to attract foreign capital, with accumulated investment in the first 11 months of 2018 standing at 7.83 billion dollars, up 1.8 percent year on year.
In the same period, the service industry of the province absorbed 6.06 billion dollars of foreign capital, up 13.5 percent year on year, while strategic emerging industries attracted 3.54 billion dollars in foreign investment, up 18 percent year on year.
The province also saw increasing investment from major investor countries and regions, with the top 10 source countries and regions actually investing 14.46 billion dollars in the province from January to November, 2018, up 8.4 year on year. (Edited by Su Dan, Niu Huizhe)
