BEIJING, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- The China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone is accelerating the construction of data analysis systems to better manage the flows of people, goods and capital in and out of the island province, according to the administrative office of the free trade zone.
The free trade zone plans to install face recognition facility in its major transport terminals, including Haikou Meilan International Airport, Sanya Phoenix International Airport, Boao Airport, Dongfang Railway Station, Sanya Railway Station, and the ports of Haikou.
As of the end of November 2018, the transportation department of Hainan province has established a logistics management system which has integrated logistics data of 62 information systems developed by 46 institutions, the logistics information of 16 enterprise wharfs, and the goods data of the province's postal departments to improve the management of goods in and out of the island.
Moreover, a real-time data analysis system has been built for capital monitoring as of December 2018. At present, the province is organizing 23 financial institutions to connect to the system.
