BEIJING -- Copyright industries added over 6 trillion yuan (881.8 billion U.S. dollars) in value to the Chinese economy in 2017, accounting for 7.35 percent of the gross domestic product (GDP), according to a report released by the Chinese Academy of Press and Publication on December 25.
