BEIJING, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- China-Europe freight trains have so far made more than 12,000 trips, linking 56 cities in China with 49 cities in 15 European countries, according to a conference about China-Europe freight service recently held in Chengdu.
Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan province, has taken the lead in the China-Europe freight train service with more than 1,000 trips made in 2018.
At present, the China-Europe freight trains departing from Chengdu have linked the domestic 14 cities with 23 overseas cities. (Edited by Jiang Feifan)
