BEIJING, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) – E China's Fujian Province released a total of 35 new measures to further promote the reform and innovation of its Free Trade Pilot Zone (FTZ) on Tuesday.
These measures involve facilitating investment and project implementation, pushing forward international trade regulation innovation, cultivating new platform and business, financial innovation, intellectual property protection and legal arbitration service.
Among them, measures concerning Taiwan were particularly eye-catching which include giving Taiwan-funded enterprises equal treatment, encouraging Taiwan people to work and start business in Fujian, introducing Taiwan medical products and technology, trying Taiwan's project construction modes and providing more convenience for vehicles from Taiwan to enter Fujian.
Besides, exploring port cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, expanding credit inquiry service for Taiwan enterprises and people, broadening cross-strait cooperation in the film and television industry and legal service and increasing the freight volume of the Taiwan-Fujian-Europe trains were also included.
