BEIJING, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- 2018 Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs was just wrapped up in Boao in south China's Hainan Province, with attendees eyeing the brand building of the Chinese enterprises.

At the main forum on Wednesday, Li Jingren, deputy general manager and chief accountant with Kweichow Moutai Co Ltd, said that Chinese brands including Moutai have grown larger and stronger after years of twists and turns and are now under the spotlight for meeting people’s needs and spreading Chinese history and culture.
Chinese brands must stick to craftsmanship spirit of striving for the best by continuously improving products and services, and advance global cooperation, innovation, corporate governance as well as corporate responsibility in order to keep leading positions globally, Li said.

Regarding the brand building, Dong Mingzhu, chairperson of the board and president of Gree Eletric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai, pointed out that the value behind the brand is quality and the spirit of craftsmanship. Consumers' interest must be put first.

Chinese enterprises shoulder the historical mission of representing the Chinese culture and bringing the China-made products to the world, according to Liu Miao, chairman with well-known Chinese baijiu producer Luzhou Laojiao Co., Ltd.
As carriers of China's reform and opening-up, Chinese brands need to attach greater importance to showcasing open, harmonious and remarkable Chinese stories along the way of market exploration, Liu added.

On Tuesday, the 2019 China brand value evaluation conference, as a part of the forum, was also held, with the aim to let consumers know more excellent Chinese brands and enhance the brand awareness.
More than 200 entrepreneurs attended the forum which was jointly held by xinhuanet, China Economic Information Service (CEIS), New Media Center of Xinhua News Agency and Xinhua Daily Telegraph in Boao of South China's Hainan Province in December 4-5.
