BEIJING, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- China's futures market transactions reached 192.24 trillion yuan in the period of January-November, a jump of 12.17 percent year on year, according to the latest data provided by the China Futures Association.
Meanwhile, the futures market's trading volume in January-November amounted to about 2.75 billion lots, down 2.59 percent year on year, said the association.
In November, the country's futures market transactions amounted to 20.88 trillion yuan, up 24.08 percent month on month.
The futures markets' trading volume in November stood at about 300.02 million lots, up 33.57 percent month on month.
China has four futures exchanges, namely Shanghai Futures Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange and China Financial Futures Exchange. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, hupingchao@xinhua.org)
