BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- China's largest condensate gas field, Dina-2 gas field, had seen its daily gas processing capacity reach 20 million cubic meters after its expansion project was rolled out on Sunday.
With a designed capacity of handling 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year, Dina-2 gas field is located in Kuche County and Luntai County in the south of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
Since it was put into production in 2009, Dina-2 gas field has transported a total 48 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the eastern provinces and cities through China West-East Gas project.
After the completion of the expansion project, Dina-2 oil and gas field saw its daily natural gas processing capacity increase by 4 million cubic meters to 20 million cubic meters, which had effectively enhanced its gas supply ability.
