BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Nearly 90 percent of enterprises surveyed are satisfied with China’s business environment, according to a survey recently published by the Academy of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT-Academy).
The study surveyed around 4,000 private, state-owned and foreign enterprises in 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China.
China's business environment scored 4.17 points in 2018 (out of 5 points, the same below), higher than the 3.85 points of the survey in 2016.
According to the survey, 87.5 percent of the enterprises are satisfied or quite satisfied with the business environment, an increase of 16 percent from 2016.
In addition, 93.5 percent enterprises surveyed by the academy agreed that the business environment in China has improved in the past three years.
Results show that enterprises in the central region gave high marks to the country’s business environment, with the scores at 4.31 points.
The exclusively foreign-owned enterprises scored 4.19 points in the assessment of the country’s business environment. (Edited by Wu Shuang, wushuang2018@xinhua.org)
