BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) – Local governments in China recently rolled out measures to push forward smart manufacturing development in areas such as smart manufacturing demonstrative zone construction and big data industry development.
East China’s Jiangsu province, for example, vowed to build about 10 provincial-level smart manufacturing demonstrative districts by 2020, providing favorable policy support to key enterprises and projects in those demonstrative districts, according to report by China Securities Journal.
Kaifeng city of central China’s Henan province planned to construct five smart manufacturing benchmark projects by 2020 while cultivate one or two segmentation industry internet platform by then.
Central China’s Hunan province voiced to encourage cooperation and joint-venture between manufacturing companies and IT, big data companies by providing funding subsidies.
Southwest China’s Chongqing municipality is now implementing new development structure that integrates intelligent industry, smart manufacturing as well as intelligent utilization.
