BEIJING, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- China's Xiongan New Area will further improve planning in all aspects for better development, in accordance with requirements of the master plan for the new area approved in April this year.
Xiongan will coordinate the construction of forests and country parks, urban parks and streetscape parks, and strive to create green landscapes and effectively improve land use efficiency, according to a recent conference held by the leading group for Xiongan's planning and construction.
In addition, Xiongan will also focus on the key projects such as ecological management and protection of Baiyangdian, afforestation, infrastructure construction, comprehensive transportation and projects for the people's livelihood. It will reinforce the quality supervision of the projects.
It will actively undertake Beijing's “non-capital” functions and vigorously develop the high-end high-tech industries.
