BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- UnionPay cardholders worldwide will be able to conduct payment via the POS terminals, QR code and e-commerce platforms in Bangladesh through Citibank network, according to a cooperation agreement signed by UnionPay and Citibank.
Citibank is the largest POS terminal service provider in Bangladesh, while UnionPay is a Chinese financial services corporation headquartered in Shanghai, which provides bank card services. UnionPay is also the only interbank network in China that links all the automatic teller machine (ATMs) of all banks throughout the country. (Edited by Bao Nuomin,baonuomin@xinhua.org)
