BEIJING, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- China's small and micro businesses obtained more loan support from banks in the first three quarters this year, according to the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) on Monday.
Loans to the small and micro enterprises each with a credit line within 100 million yuan increased 19.8 percent year on year, by the end of the third quarter of 2018.
Meanwhile, the outstanding balance of the banks' agriculture-related loans increased 6.6 percent year on year to 33 trillion yuan.
Loans for credit card consumption and affordable housing projects increased by 27.2 percent and 39.8 percent in the first three quarters of the year, respectively, 14.9percentage points and 27.5 percentage points higher than the average growth rate of various loans.
