BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- China's e-commerce giant JD.com on Tuesday announced the brand upgrade of its JD Finance into JD Digits during the JD Discovery (JDD) 2018 conference held in Beijing.
Meanwhile, JD Digits CEO Chen Shengqiang unveiled a new business segment, the JD MO Media during the event.
As a new digital marketing service system based on Internet of Things (IoT), the newly-released JD MO Media signifies the participation of JD into the field of elevator advertising, reported China Securities Journal.
JD MO Media has upgraded and connected nearly 2 million offline screens to the internet in the past one year. In the meantime, JD Digits structured more than 10 million POI (Point of Interest) services, which serve more than 240 million consumers daily, according to Chen.
