BEIJING, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) – Area management organizations of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) signed cooperation agreements with 12 companies in a bid to launch a batch of projects to expand opening-up on a conference held in Shanghai Pudong New Area on Monday.
Some of these projects are first-appearing projects in the field of opening-up expansion, such as the first China-foreign jointly-invested aircraft manufacturing project China-Russia international commercial aircraft project, the first foreign-funded vocational psychology training program Zhengneng vocational skills training program and the first foreign-funded financial education training program Ruibo vocational skills training program.
A couple of the 12 companies are leading companies in emerging industries, such as all-round IT service provider Beyondsoft (002649. SZ), the world's leading technology company Siemens and the world's largest foreign exchange company Travelex.
Besides, relevant official of Shanghai FTZ also released the special service mechanism for key enterprises at the conference, aiming at providing full life-cycle service for these enterprises.
The combination of optimized business environment of Pudong New Area and opening-up expansion policies in Shanghai FTZ have made Pudong New Area a hot spot for foreign investment, and the FTZ has strongly promoted the development of Pudong New Area, noted Sun Yuanxin, deputy head of the Institute of Free Trade Zone at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
