The 5th World Green Development Investment and Trade Expo (the expo) will be held in Nanchang, east China's Jiangxi province from November 30 to December 2, 2018, gathering some 1,500 representatives from governments, businesses, cultural and academic circles worldwide.
Green development has been recognized as Jiangxi's most precious asset, its biggest strength and most recognizable brand. Since it was included in China's first batch of national ecological pilot zones in August of 2016, Jiangxi has made increasing ecological system innovation achievements with improving ecological environment and energizing green development.
Theme on "entering new period of high-quality green development", the expo is expected to boost green industry investment, unimpeded green product trade, green resources sharing, green cultural exchanges and mutual learning, as well as innovation cooperation, thus injecting new vitality into Jiangxi's green development and build Jiangxi a benchmark city in the country.
The expo this year will present four exhibition divisions including Jiangxi Opening-Up Theme Area, Ecological Pilot Area, Green Financial Area, and Green Industrial Area, as well as an Audience Experience Area, with the whole exhibition area reaching 25,000 square meters.
The previous four expos have achieved fruitful successes, gaining international awareness and worldwide praises.
