BEIJING, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) – China remained Uzbekistan's largest trading partner in the first ten months of 2018, whose trade value with Uzbekistan during this period amounted to 5.028 billion U.S. dollars, up 28.8 percent and accounting for 19.5 percent of Uzbekistan's total foreign trade volume, according to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.
During this period, China's exports to this country were 2.826 billion U.S. dollars, making it the second largest import origin of Uzbekistan only next to Russia, while China's imports from this country were 2.202 billion U.S. dollars, making it the largest export destination of Uzbekistan.
Statistics also showed that Uzbekistan's foreign trade volume from January to October this year hit 25.768 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 15.9 percent year on year.
Besides, the country's second to tenth largest trading partners during this period were Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, South Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, Japan, Latvia and Ukraine. (Edited by Gu Shanshan)
