KIEV, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine's western Lviv region is interested in deepening all-round cooperation with China, local media reported on Thursday, citing the head of Lviv regional administration Oleg Synyutka.
While speaking at the meeting with representatives of Chinese business, Synyutka said that many producers of agricultural goods that work in Lviv region are willing to supply their products to the Chinese market.
Besides, Lviv region stands ready to provide favorable investment opportunities for Chinese businessmen, who are ready to invest in establishing production or building roads in Ukraine, Synyutka said.
Lviv government officials and Chinese businessmen also discussed prospects for cooperation in tourism, culture, science and gastronomy.
Located in the Carpathian Mountains on the border with Poland, Lviv region ranked 9th among the most industrially developed Ukrainian regions. It is also home to several dozens of mountain and spa resorts.
